Our Story - Liberty School of Dance
At Liberty School of Dance, we aim to nurture and inspire all of our dancers, teaching them the highest standards of dance technique in a friendly and welcoming environment.
We specialise in teaching Ballet, Modern and Tap dance for children.
We aim to deliver the highest standards of dance technique, while promoting confidence in performance, within a friendly and nurturing environment.
We are proud of the welcoming and encouraging dance community that has grown over the years and we look forward to welcoming you to our school.
Studied at the Royal Academy of Dance, where she graduated with a BA Honours in the Art and Teaching of Ballet in 2004.
Whilst at the RAD, Marina was also awarded her Licentiate; the highest teaching accolade given by the RAD.
With many years of experience of entering students for graded and vocational Ballet, Modern and tap examinations, for which she has a 100% pass rate.
Marina regularly attends courses to keep up-to-date with new dance legislation. She completed her PGCE at the Royal Academy of Dance in 2005 and has experience of teaching the GCSE, A level and BTEC Dance courses in schools and colleges, alongside teaching Ballet and Modern up to advanced level.

About Liberty School of Dance
Liberty School of Dance offers a premium children’s dance school based in Isleworth, West London.
The aim of our school is to nurture technique in a friendly and welcoming environment. Liberty School of Dance specialises in teaching Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Street and Tap dance for children.
Our story started when we established our school in September 2012 with the main objective of delivering the highest standards of dance teaching in a fun, yet disciplined environment. We follow the syllabus of the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) for Ballet and The Imperial Society of Teachers (ISTD) of Dancing for Tap, Modern and Jazz.
Dance classes are held in the open and spacious Millennium Hall. This bright and spacious hall provides a lovely atmosphere to promote learning in a welcoming and safe environment. There is ample space for the children to explore the way in which their bodies move.
Students have successfully competed in the regional finals of the All England dance competition. Past students have gone on to study at prestigious vocational dance schools such as:
- London Studio Centre
- The Urdang Academy
- Bird Theatre college
- Laines Theatre Arts
- Northern School of Contemporary Dance
- Trinity Laban
- and many have enjoyed careers within the industry, with past students having performed on X-Factor UK and in the BBC Sope Series, ‘EastEnders.’
